These are literally the books that made me a reader - the very copies I read and reread as a kid. I love the fact my mum has kept them all from her younger years and still has them on display ❤️

The story of a Roman Empire slave boy who lives in a brothel, this is a harrowing and intensely vivid novel that I could not put down - think Shuggie Bain in Roman times. A book club pick I wasn't expecting to be such a good read! #booksky

It's 4 years this week since I moved to a new area of the country. I was terrified at the time and yet it's absolutely been the best thing I could have done. So to celebrate I'm having a post work drink in my local which just happens to have this view. Terrible, isn't it? 😂♥️

Call me crazy, but I've just booked an early bird ticket (available to those who attended this year) for next year's Women's Prize Live. It really is one of the best days of the year. Who else is coming?
