My concern is AI stealing from all sorts of artists and creatives and the normalisation of its use, that's why I asked. Thanks for the reply! 👍

May I ask @intocreative.bsky.social , are you using AI to create these images?

What a gorgeous (huge) puppy! I take it, as a Newfoundland, he’s chosen that spot because it’s cool?

I'm the Gillian McKeith of wildlife.

If it was in the UK I'd say fox, but in the US I'd say skunk?

Love this creation - it's sort of Domestic 1970s Sutton Hoo, for the High King or Queen of 'Tea Time on a Formica Kitchen Table', ceremoniously put on as the opening theme tune of The Generation Game plays .

I'm still sad about the Industrial Revolution, the effect this stuff will have is terrifying. Why can't they see that?

It's sort of Murder in the Dark meets Big Brother.
(disclaimer: watched half the first episode only)

When it has loads of buttery pastry around it and called a pain au chocolat is perfectly acceptable - even encouraged - so knock yourself out with breakfast chocolate, I say!

He looks like the type.

Yep. The butterfly logo too is very 90s. Remember every other girl getting a butterfly tattoo on their ankle because they 'went travelling' during the summer.

I'm sure most of the UK always thought that was Rodney singing the theme to Only Fools and Horses.

Growing up in England but hearing Glaswegian accent at home, I thought 'rucksacks' were 'rock sacks' and (as my dad had been in the mountain rescue) they were named that because you wore them rock climbing.

I always like the way Hawks' female characters are always mature, independent women with a mind of their own, and a past - as in Rio Bravo. Often a big part of the male character's journey with their masculinity is to learn to deal with this.

(the character, not the series)
December 8, 2024 at 7:53 PM
So, he was doing Baldy Man in his early 30s?!

All the Glaswegians were off doing their accent everywhere else in Scotland, such as Shetland.

The worst thing is when a show is set in a specific area or town - and then no character has the accent from there.

Hello (waves).
Yeah, very ahead of its time.

So many near deaths, good people being treated badly (what a lesson that is!), real world stress.

Made a joke to a waitress in Reykjavik about the jug of apple juice she was offering, looking like a urine sample. Had to spend 10 minutes explaining the 'joke' and what urine is.

I would prefer to do decs up Christmas Eve and start festivities then, until 6th Jan.
Nothing more depressing than seeing a chucked out Christmas tree on the pavement on Boxing Day. Instant gratification culture - can't wait, then bored very quickly.
