I’ve lived through McCarthyism, Nixonism, Vietnam, 9/11, assassinations of JFK, RFK, MLK, trumf 101. This is the most scared I’ve ever been. There used to be two political parties to count on. All the Republicans have drunk the Kool-Aid. Democrats have to lead us out of this darkness. NOW!

trumf has so many on his retribution list, it makes Nixon’s enemies list look like a love note. But we’re all so busy mocking him and musk’s schoolyard brawl.that we’re ignoring the seriousness of a president ignoring the citizens.

Tell me it isn’t so, even trumf couldn’t be so cruel to deport a child who desperately needs care she can only get here in the US and might die in days after she’s deported.

Stephen Miller, the Prince of Darkness has reportedly said trumf wants to do away with habeas corpus, the foundation of our country. This must be Miller’s fever dream. I can’t imagine even SCOTUS would allow this, since we’re not under attack( except from trumf).

As a longtime union member (publicists’ guild), I salute all the protests today, May Day, on behalf of all workers, union and not-yet-unionists, who just want to have food on the table, a roof overhead and education for their children.

I know he doesn’t care about the truth and also has no sense of shame, but targeting Act Blue when they’re scrupulously transparent while he’s promoting dinner with the president by selling memes that go directly into his pocket Is again mind-boggling.

Protests good, security firings bad. Judge Boasberg good, SCOTUS bad. Musk complaining about tariffs good, ICE grabbing people off the street very bad.

The protests across the country are wonderful, but I hope they begin to have an effect on Republicans in Congress who are too scared to hold town hall meetings. If trumf doesn’t primary you, the voters will.

Another shameful day for America, with trumf and vance arguing with Zelensky when he tries to correct their lies. it’s not enough they were trying to extort him, they want him to be a “good boy” and be quiet.

How do we get rid of Musk and his Doge-ettes ? All I hear is a recitation of the wrongs he is wreaking, which I know. What I don’t know is how we fire him, effective immediately.

The military, the one bastion we could rely on has been compromised with the firings and changes at the top. Can we be sure that they won’t follow illegal orders and help trumf take down our country? Who’s going to stop them if they are given orders to take over civilian rule.? Or shoot protestors?

it’s heartening to see citizens and Democrats in Congress protesting but trumf and must keep steamrolling over us. We have to hope to god the courts including SCOTUS hold out against them.

Tulsi Gabbard and Robert Kennedy Jr in one week. Mitch McConnell voting no. If he had only helped convict at the second impeachment, we wouldn’t be in this mess. His influence is toothless. Kash Patel is on his way next. Not one major confirmation with any competence for their job.

trumf administration is firing FBI employees from top to bottom, but it’s ILLEGAL to do this to civil service employees. What is happening? Where does this leave us? People will sue, but in the meantime, we’re left vulnerable to many threats from around the world.
