The quality of Netflix originals has degraded since 2018. Some stand alone projects have been fantastic, but going into game shows and reality shows has shown their in for a quick buck. They've also cut shows that were edgy but interesting way too early.
The should have had a less is more approach.

Türkiye can join only if they give up all their territory west of Istanbul to Greece just to piss them off.

A lot of members/friends I know, and me, wished it was called the Democratic Socialist Party. I still think we can push for that for next year or the year after!

An undemocratic monarchy maintaining it's grip, it seems.

Why don't they do a "combined authority", a model done in the UK where you have multiple municipalities, but then a directly elected mayor that covers all the boroughs?
Creating super councils is not very good and it alienates locals from councils.

There's so much wrong about this to unpack succinctly. Why would labour legislation barely pass in a huge Labour majority gov? Whose actually in charge then?
Also, the biggest step up in workers rights in a gen means little when it's only gone downhill during Blair's and the Tories' govs.

Agreed. People are well within their rights to be members of the Green Party and see that these two parties have similarities and differences. But the attempts to cast doubt on a process that hasn't finished just looks desperate to me.

Those 2 mps left because they thought trans rights were up for debate.

Sadly the left-bloc of Oe, SF and A don't have enough for a majority in themselves.

pharmaceutical companies should have been funding research for years, instead just relying on public grants, even though they make the direct profit of of their drugs. They're the reason superbugs has become a thing.
Investing is good but research via AI isn't comforting.

As mentioned in another comment on this post, drill into the nuance with more specific questions and there is a lot there for social democrats/socialists to fight for. 'left, right and centre' and nebulous terms in public discussions, because they mean different things to different people/groups.

TBH I have heard some fringe views from people already in the movement cynical of working with the Greens. But I don't think they represent the majority, or are fair/evidenced critiques.

Understand why people want the left to join the greens from a strategic point of view of having FPTP and needing to be lean. My point is strategically there is a long-term advantage for each other to be separate. We need to focus on open communication between the parties so we can work together.

It will only happen with we take motions to each party, it's not just social media posts. But I too really hope it happens.

I was very impressed with how you faired in a debate space. Gave me hope for the future of this party.
