I was talking to a biologist last night who just gave a talk on climate change, and I asked him how our kids can have hope in this world. He looked utterly deflated and said he had no good answer. I appreciated his honesty.

The local activists say they are won’t be happy until protected means protected. So they aren’t done yet.

The activists I have talked to say they won’t be happy until protected really means protected. This is a win,but they aren’t finished fighting.

It actually sounds like a lot of folks are in favour of it because - jobs.

The rumours have been swirling (we live in the area now) for a few weeks. I’m also now a reporter with the local weekly and was asked just the other day to do an investigative piece on the rumours. No need now…

I'm watching the show. I only have a vague idea of what is happening.
