Are people passionate about education needed more than ever in our public schools in the U.S. now? YES!!
Would I recommend becoming a public educator to a young person seeking a career path right now in the U.S.? Probably not, because although it is a noble calling, it is difficult path.

Exploring diversions other than news. Today I made my own hummus. It turned out to be delicious. Tomorrow I think I will finish a painting I started a couple of weeks ago. I am not ignoring current events. Just trying to keep from obsessing so much that I miss life’s joys.

My personal trainer, aka the dog, says it is time to get up and take a walk now. So I guess I better get up and go!

A long walk in the woods with my dog today was good. It didn’t change anything at all about current events that are worrisome. But the dog had a great time and I felt happy and relaxed for an hour or so. Which is something.

I just went grocery shopping, and guess what? Eggs weren’t any cheaper than they were last week with President #46 still in office. 🙄
