This is the single track road (with passing places) that leads to our village here in Eryri. This morning I met a car coming up at one of the bad bends just further down from here. She refused to reverse all of 10 yds albeit partially round a bend for me. #1/

As a complete contrast to politics, cats and sheep, here's what I occasionally have been known to create. This painting was a result of my ongoing fascination with the hawthorn trees that survive precariously on the mountain slopes hereabouts. I am struggling to regain my painting mojo.

Thought it only polite to introduce the feistiest member of my family to everybody. Meet Smotyn the Welsh Mountain sheep. His sole purpose in life is to sneak in a stealthy butt, demand food and chase (& try butt) any cat who has the audacity to enter his domain. #sheepofbluesky
