@publixofficial.bsky.social we have many choices of where to shop and I have a feeling Publix is going to take a financial hit for this decision. Their prices are exorbitant already, who wants to see shoppers carrying a rifle or semiautomatic weapon in the bakery?

GM from south Siesta Key. Dune sunflowers, railroad vine, & sea oats are in bloom-I saw a mother & calf manatee yesterday! Amazing how Mother Nature has sprung back after🌀🌀 Helene & Milton (Milton made landfall around here).

Thought folks might enjoy photos from my morning office today💚I did a green sea turtle nest excavation after it had hatched successfully and found 2 hatchlings in the nest. They’ll be released after sunset. This sea turtle monitoring & research was conducted under FLFWC Marine Turtle Permit 048.
