The much needed rain 🌧️ in San Antonio mirrors my sadness on this July 4th. But when the legislative & judicial branches won’t hold the executive branch accountable, and the fourth estate won’t cover the destruction of truth, we are beyond a constitutional crisis. This is authoritarianism.

It’s a cold and sad rainy day here in San Antonio. Not sure if it’s the weather, going to my best friend’s funeral on Monday or watching President Carter’s memorial service that’s making me sad. I just need to have a good cry 😢

Today the country paused to pay tribute to President Carter for a life of service. But for many it was an opportunity to take to social media and comment on another person who shall remain nameless. Shame on everyone for giving the unspoken one attention on this solemn day.
