Unless they're kept out of general population any trans person won't be safe and they know that. I think they get a sick satisfaction from it. I would bet that many of the directives and policy changes were paid for under the guise of campaign donations etc.

They don't have relatives who can pass down what life is like without democracy and how dictators aren't easy to remove. The education system has and is letting each generation after X down.

I think many have looked at their future & previous & recent governments that have made that future bleak. They're looking for someone to either take decisive action to rectify it or it's voter apathy, why bother if voting makes no difference.

Early on I knew I wouldn't be able to pass the memory test used to assess elderly people. It truly is one of the most terrifying symptoms until you find out it's part of ME.
