It sounds like some progress, but US Bishops have not been in line with the efforts by Pope Francis and Pope Leo to make the Church more inclusive and more focused on compassion.

Many options. Madeleine Dean, Brendan Boyle, to name two. Lots of good folks. I doubt PA is ready to elect a Black woman to a statewide office no matter how good she is. Baby steps.

You would expect a doctor to understand how health insurance works. You see, you put together a pool of people who all pay in X amount so that when, not if, one gets very sick, the cost of care can be covered by the pool and not that one person. It requires some some sophisticated thinking, I know.
