Nature is healing
The proportion of p-values between .01 and .05 declined in psychology over the last decade, a strengthening of credibility.

Papers with fewer fragile p-values are cited more. Higher ranked journals assoc. with > improvement, but not higher ranked universities.

Thanks to everybody who chimed in!

I arrived at the conclusion that (1) there's a lot of interesting stuff about interactions and (2) the figure I was looking for does not exist.

So, I made it myself! Here's a simple illustration of how to control for confounding in interactions:>

This is such good news for package authors and users alike. Also a great step towards easier #reproducibility.
PSA: All #rstats package on #cran will get an official DOI!

This will facilitate bibliometrics and giving credit to R package authors.

Registering all 20,000+ packages will still take a few more days. But the first couple of thousand are already live. Example:

Causal salad, causal design, causal inference. I did a 3 hour workshop in Leipzig yesterday on causal inference, aka why your regressions are garbage lolsob. Here below a recording of me covering the same content, I promise it's not boring #stats 🧪 (Link to slides/code github.com/rmcelreath/c...)

Psych people: considering the classics, are there any updated takes on the halo effect? Thinking in terms of magnitude, replicability, but also substantive interpretation! Any pointers appreciated 😇
