And theres always a difference between an excuse and a justification.

Your behavior may be explainable, and might have context. But at the end of the day, you still have to be accountable for your actions

Obama V Trump 2028 feels like a hollywood movie in the making.

First Trump beat the white woman, and then he lost to the white man. Then he beats a black woman, and the stage is set for the showdown between him and the only black man whos ever won.

Its incredibly reductive, but how most see it

I agree that all of this wouldn't work if they weren't pushing on an already-cracked door. Even libs have these reactionary instincts inside them, which can be activated given the right stimuli.

Im honestly sickened by the number of people I've seen recently who I *know* would not have independently had an issue finding out a kid in their school was trans, but have recently taken a (poorly defended) stance on it.

I knew there was malicious actors, but I didn't expect so many sheep

What a perfect analogy. Because I think it's incredibly reasonable to blame the people pushing on the door; they are primarily at fault.

But there should be a lot of scrutiny on why the door was so cracked for some issues. Or why people opened their closed doors after seeing the commotion

For a counterpoint, Sydney Sweeny jeans thing. That was an attempt at manufactured outrage, and 99% of the left just didn't buy it. That's an example of the media pushing and nobody giving a shit. So, when people *choose* to care about trans people in sports, they are partially culpable

I think it's sort of 50-50. Because no, I don't think a single person who cares about it today *would* have cared if the right didn't push it so hard.

But, i personally dgaf, and the idea that others do is weird. Trans women are women, let them play sports. The customer base is * ow* there

I dont necessarily agree with any of their ideals, this was just one of the best compilations of all of Trumps awfulness.

Here's a list of just a handful of things, if you can't think for yourself about why you could possibly tolerate him. J6 alone should have been disqualifying, if you want to start there, but the BBB, the TCJA, and any EO is also something I'll discuss if you're scared

I mean, i just got here. I'll gladly debate policy with you, Trump is entirely indefensible in every possible aspect, and not a single one of those 77M people would continue to support them if they stuck to any principle they claim to have, unless they make more than 400k per year.

Look man, as someone still on the tolerant left side, we aren't going to be able to hold 100% of the people on our side from calling you out for nonsense.

There is plenty of us who will run circles around you on policy. We just now also have people who will call you out to your face.
