dWAR positional adjustment accounting for more than most of that, between Contreras formely as catcher and Alonso always at 1B. +6.0 career for Contreras and about the opposite -6.3 for Pete. Interestingly, Contreras' 2025 dWAR as 1B was -0.9 (yes, much higher than Pete's -1.5).

Reform within the current party control of Congress will be the opposite of reform. We have to extend at least beyond next year's mid-terms and seating of the next Congress.

Also, if I understand correctly, the LSD is an average of the throws over the entire Round Robin. But TSN doesn't show those throws and doesn't give updates on the LSD averages. Again, confused.

Except Sturmay beat Black in Round Robin. And Gushue should have been straight to the Final if he beat Jacobs. This is where I still get confused.

As much as I'd like Einarson to do it, the chances of beating Homan twice in a 2 out of 3 are somewhere between lightning strike death and Powerball win.

I guess underlying my question is: "Is this the best way to show this game to American audiences?" I completely agree that curling being prime time in this country is fantastic, I just wonder if this format/style is best to keep newbie folks coming back.

Do you think this best-of-three format is the best way to determine a winner/representative? Cagey and tactical, I'm not so sure, and I almost get the sense everyone might be better off just going tied into a more revelatory deciding third game anyway.
