This expresses exactly where I’m at right now. Over the last 8 years, I’ve put everything I could into preventing this situation. I’m exhausted and I need to retreat and not participate in the rage for my own sanity. I’ll be back. But I need to rethink my methods and levels of activism.

Nowhere does this woman express remorse for her actions or hold herself accountable. Instead she passes blame on her dead husband for influencing her. Good for Mayes not making this personal. But I wish the punishment had more teeth than 90 days unsupervised probation.

Wouldn’t have mattered. One of the candidates had organized a trump rally in the parking lot of his flagstaff gun store. They were looking for a “type”.

We have an opportunity to stack the Committee on Appellate Court Appts to assist in the selection of the independent commissioner. Also need to find smart data wonks to help establish beachheads in the future purple boundaries. Get those communities activated early so they can’t be cracked.

Interesting how the party that complains most about the length of time it takes to count votes are also the group that contributes to the “problem” the most.

Brands are affected by two things - your long term history with a brand and your last experience with a brand. Often the latter can weigh higher, especially if the last experience is negative. It was so easy for Rs to attach “inflation” to the D brand. Only stronger, tighter messaging can fix that.
