Hear from one of Australia's leading child psychiatrists as Professor Milroy discusses the role of constant stress and how this can impact child development.

In this study, you will receive therapy free of change, will be reimbursed $100 for each MRI scan ($200 total) and a maximum of $40 for the daily surveys. In addition, you wish you may receive a copy of the pictures of your brain and a report of your sleep.

We will measure your sleep on 3 occasions (before, during and after the therapy) using a small wearable device attached to your forehead and a smartphone app.

You will be asked to complete 3 assessments (pre, post and follow up), complete 2 sessions in an MRI scanner, and complete 5 group exposure therapy sessions (1.5h a week across 5 weeks). You will also be asked to complete several short surveys, and provide saliva samples to measure your hormones.

If this is you, we are looking for you! We invite individuals from the Melbourne (Australia) area with a diagnosis of social anxiety or panic disorder aged 18-55 to participate in a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and group exposure therapy study looking at predictors of exposure therapy response.
