Women were discouraged or prohibited from wearing makeup, smoking, dressing in certain ways, and showing any kind of sexuality (except for with their husband, and only for the very important job of making as many babies as possible). She should never work outside the home.

Laws were passed to limit and prevent women from holding positions in judicial systems, science and mathematics research roles, university faculties, and medical fields.

But it's my #ADHD medication! I struggle to keep up with things like this *because I have ADHD* and even though my meds are a huge help, they don't fix it. Add to that being treated like a drug addict or criminal just for wanting to be able to function and this makes me want to tear the world down.

I think those are poppy and daffodil! Our dishes were a wedding present from my Mom in 2021. Scarlet, poppy, butterscotch, daffodil, sunflower, lemongrass, meadow, and mulberry. I picked the colors from Monet's "Bouquet of Sunflowers", my favorite painting. ☺️

I've gone by a nickname my whole life--from the day I was born. On my first day in kindergarten, my teacher taking attendance called us last name, first name, but I didn't recognize my own legal first name, because no one had ever called me that. I remember being SO confused!
