Just wanted to let you know that 5 days after surgery, I’m completely pain free and not taking any more meds. Recovery has been a breeze!

I took it seriously and got myself sterilized this week. It was because I read Project 2025 last summer that I made a consult appointment for the Monday after the election… just in case.

My IUD was 100% covered, all three times. So worth checking into your insurance, for sure! Good luck 💕

Probably depends on your insurance, but I think there’s a federal law (right now 👀) that ensures coverage. Didn’t have a co-pay at all this morning for my procedure, but I’ll let you know if that changes! Call your insurance and ask about these billing codes: 58661 and Z30.2

Tips that have helped: Wear loose comfy pants for after surgery. I have a heating pad for my back, and a heated neck massager, too. I read somewhere that sipping sodas help relieve some gas by getting you to burp more, and I think that’s true. Also make sure you get up and walk around a bit!
