In honor of black history month, I will be doing a daily thread of James Baldwin quotes. If you have never heard of the late great Mr Baldwin, he was a trailblazer in so many ways. If the weather is crappy where you are might I suggest “I Am Not Your Negro” a 2016 documentary.

I’m hoping someone here will verify- there’s a national protest happening this coming week but I cannot find the name of the organizers. That may be by design, but I want to make sure it’s well intentioned.

This week I got a box of dark chocolate caramels from Aldi. They were too big so I cut them in quarters. Now I have to dig out a huge glob of the stuff to eat instead of mini bites. Not sorry.
