Personal reasons. I hate FB and would by choice not be on it. I only have a profile to manage this group and be a member of a few other work groups. The meta news yesterday rekindled my feelings.

Circa 8000 members. Unsure how many active off the top of my head. Recent posts are reaching 500 to 1k members, highest recent post reached 2200.
Everyone is involved in trust fundraising for a living. Contents is mainly user-posted, asking advice from other members. Between 6 and 12 posts a day.

This change should be good long term but short term the impact isn't great for a lot of orgs.

A market which was still reeling from the credit crunch. The situation has not improved in the intervening years, with more & more demand for a grant giving pool that cannot grow to meet that demand and is starting to approach the situation differently as a result... cont'd
