During FL’s @momsdemand.bsky.social Advocacy Day, I got in some good trouble w/ volunteers, community partners & gun violence survivors to demand our lawmakers work w/ us for a future free of gun violence. We asked that our lawmakers oppose weakening gun laws & not allow teenagers to purchase guns.

Spent MLK Day and weekend in Orlando helping pack over 1 million meals for families impacted by the wildfires in CA, attending a MLK parade in historic Eatonville, and delivering books to a Little Free Library in College Park. I hope everyone had a peaceful day. I tried to avoid the news…
