I work with youth experiencing homelessness in Central MN. Writer | Editor. Climate change, affordable housing, reproductive rights, saving democracy — let’s get to work!
Raiders for me, too. Feels eerily accurate.

We are halfway through and loving it!

I work with young adults experiencing homelessness and witness this every day — they don’t have the bandwidth for anything else if they’re hungry or tired, and with SNAP benefits paused, the situation is even more dire.

I’ve always had a hard time comprehending how the Rwandan genocide could happen (neighbors killing neighbors, etc.). I hate that I can see it more clearly now.

Watched out of curiosity two weeks ago and ended up LOVING it!

My kids always want them so we always buy a bucket we never finish. I turn them into ice cream cookie sandwiches. Slap a dollop of ice cream between two cookies, wrap in plastic wrap, and freeze. That’s the only way we eat the ones we bring home.

I’m so glad you were able to enjoy it! Try as I might to grow strawberries for us, the rabbits always get there first. :)

This book deeply resonated with me - both as a mother and as an American who loves my country but dislikes the machinations of power that keep us from realizing the true potential of a just and equitable shared American dream. I appreciated your honesty, your empathy, AND the rich history lessons!

I have the same question. Also - if they heard gunshots inside the home *after* being fired upon, why did they not go into the house (especially knowing who lived at the residence and what had already transpired)?

This is so vile.

A buffoon who claimed bankruptcy six times, doesn’t pay his bills, in obvious mental decline with dozens of felonies isn’t the man to manage the largest economy on the planet.

But some of us already knew that.

Now we pay the price for others’ hatred, misogyny, prejudice, ignorance, & gullibility.

I have dozens of books (across multiple pen names) that showed up in the search. I figured they'd be in there but I was still pretty gutted to see the lists of titles. :(
