Look what I found on my deck the other morning! Yes that means it snowed here in the mountains of CO last week. It also means a black bear was hoping to get into my kitchen! (Bear paws have 5 toes--the furthest "toe" to the left was most likely made by a drip from the roof) #nature #Colorado

Recently spotted in the neighborhood: black bear, pine squirrel, mule deer, great horned owl. I love the zoo outside my window! The bears have cleaned out my crabapple tree with only minor "pruning" this year. #Colorado #wildlife #nature
