"Literary?" As in, reading and discussing classic literature? Hilarious. And I'm guess they don't know much about repug demographics, because that particular segment will definitely take a hit.

I feel the same. Impeachment and removal? Fine, but finish the job. With all of them. They're all traitors to the U.S. and to humanity as a whole.

And the scotus situation is largely the fault of mcconnell.

At this point I think the most effective method would be a council of prominent politicians, journalists, and other prominent organizers who are already showing themselves effective at mobilizing. I think this ability is growing and will continue to grow.

My friends and I keep talking about this. We need someone with the power to rally all of us, to get this going. Sometimes I think it's the only thing, short of blood-shed, that could make a significant impact.

A present from the Easter Bunny, or someone who loves you very much. Wouldn't it be wonderful if gorgeous, new horses just showed up in our fields as gifts to us??

I agree. But it's hard to imagine enough of us united in this effort. Our size seems a limitation at times.

At first glance I thought she was a paint!

Every one of my friends hopes and prays that other countries help with this effort, by doing exactly that - boycott everything American, especially if it comes from a "red" area or trump supporting business. We need them to feel it and understand that they're responsible.

Right. Until the next sip, about 30 seconds later. I imagine his wife goes with him so she can tell him when it's getting obvious. As if that would work.

I'm sure you're safe! You were resilient. It sounds like you've been incredibly resilient and self-reliant. Getting away from that environment was the best thing you could have done. I left and went to college. Getting out in the world is the best thing for people.
April 21, 2025 at 4:47 AM
I'm glad the world sees us trying. We love our allies and supporters - please keep sending postive vibes. We need all the help we can get!

And this revelation- that they're trump lovers- really feels like the final break. They knew where I stood, and they knew how it would impact my own kids. I don't feel the need to understand or forgive.
April 21, 2025 at 3:11 AM
I moved out also, at 17. But as an adult, with my own children, and after years in education, I am certain that 16 and 17 year olds don't "move out." They (we) run. I ran far, far away, to the other side of the country. That distance has always felt like sweet relief.

I'm so sorry. I'm sure you have a lot of feelings about that. To consider that we were raised by these people, misunderstood each other so much, and wound up with such an incredible gulf between us...
April 20, 2025 at 8:31 PM
My parents and brothers are the same, and they'll never sway from their love of him and his regime. We can't make his lovers change their hearts and minds. We need to accept that. I am sorry, and know that it's hard.

We're kidding ourselves if we think anything will change what these pieces of dung will do.
April 15, 2025 at 6:14 PM
We consent to be governed. At what point will we stop consenting?
April 15, 2025 at 3:37 AM
We're past thinking "we're almost to the point..." Anyone who thinks this just hopes they'll never come for them. And I'm tired of hearing that trump is falling apart. This movement is solid, and it no longer hinges on him. Who will stop this? They'll never give up power without blood.

How is it that we have "no ability to bring him back?" I've been wondering about this very issue, and I simply don't believe that we can't get them back. Is anyone working on this issue?
April 1, 2025 at 2:42 PM
Do you think someone will, eventually? I don't know. I keep hoping, but I think I'm being foolist at the same time.
