Went downtown last night to check out Swiftieland outside Taylor's second last show in Toronto — thousands of dressed up fans, a sea of glittery clothes, boots, faces, joy. Most moving were the dads, glittered up too, gamely accompanying daughters. My dad hated the Beatles. These dads, hooray!

Full house for a showing I sponsored of The Giants, a doc about the power and beauty of old growth forests and the life of the extraordinary man, Dr. Bob Brown, who fought to save them. I hope the film is widely distributed, because everyone should see this inspiring, beautiful film.
