Behold the Monster: This true crime + creative nonfiction was less about the man who murdered 93 women and more about the women whose lives were cut short. The "say their names" sections were esp. affective in audio. Nikki Zakos's performance was okay, tho I was sometimes unsure who was speaking.

The Deep Sky: A SF-mystery mashup set on a spaceship headed to Planet X to restart humankind. While I liked the technology & grew to care about the main character, I never fully felt the drama & danger. 3* Audiobook: Sarah Shaer's performance was expressive, but some odd pronuciations were jarring.

One of Us Is Back: This takes place 18-24 months after the previous entry in the series ends. I was glad to learn happened to the characters & the book was fine overall, but I may be tiring of the kids and the premise. Audio: 4 alternating narrators blended well with no weak links.

Mrs. Plansky's Revenge: This was tons of fun. I liked meeting Mrs. Plansky & the other characters. A good mix of her inner thoughts & action scenes. Audiobook: Petrea Burchard did a super job with pacing, capturing Mrs. Plansky's spunk, & (to my untrained ear) the accents.

Immortal Longings: I really liked this retelling of Antony & Cleopatra in an SFF setting. The world building was solid, the characters well developed, and the plot engaging. Audiobook: Jenna Yi nailed the characters' personalities and emotions. Good pacing. 4* read for me.

First is Tomorrow x3: This was solid 3* read for me. I didn't connect with or like the characters, and the plot itself wasn't interesting enough to compensate. The audiobook performance (Jennifer Kim & Julian Chihi) was okay, but didn't save the book for me.
