Wow! I've done several 3 hour runs down and across Embudo Creek and Ojo Sarco Creek. A land of much effort!

This fall, I've been starting earlier and running with a headlamp the first 20-30 minutes, and am thrilled that it puts me that much higher when the sky fire happens!

Thanks for his service! I have run the mesa where the Union troops outflanked the Rebels and 🔥 their wagons at Apache Canyon, thus ending the planned march to California.

That must've been an amazing trip! I've been up to Pecos Falls and up to Pecos Baldy. How many nights was the big loop?

Most recently 2022. I remain reluctant to venture toward Ruidoso, given the fires/flooding since then. Strength to all who have made it through.
