This makes me think of the final scene in "Planet of the Apes" (original 1968). Fingers crossed it doesn't get to that level. Hopefully the courts will hold, people will keep protesting, and some Republicans (and Democrats) will grow spines and uphold the oath they swore to the Constitution.

The MAGAs control both houses of Congress. He has been impeached twice before but MAGAs would not vote for the rule of law. This time articles of impeachment can’t even be approved because MAGAs control the House.. I’d love to impeach him.
