I like science and films and travelling
Rushmore:
This is very funny, and Max is a great character, but for some reason I didn't love it as much as other people seem to. I do wish I could commit to as many hobbies as Max does though. An enjoyable but sometimes disquieting watch.

Finally, my favourite of the three was Dead Talents Society, a very fun Tawainese horror-comedy, which executes a great premise very well and contains lots of heart

A ★★★★½ review of Dead Talents Society (2024)
This is a very fun film with lots of heart. It follows the fate of some ghosts who's continuing existence depends on them earning/keeping their haunting license by being sufficiently scary. This premi...

Second is La Cocina, a stressful film showing the coming together of different cultures and languages in an intense New York kitchen. Again, not everything worked but I was certainly never bored and there was lots to discuss afterwards.

First up is the Norwegian film Loveable. An emotional film that makes you reflect on your own life as you watch Maria try and figure out hers. Not everything worked for me, but did appreciate it's advocating for a good nap.

I completely agree, unfortunately I watched The Royal Tenenbaums before having this idea... But maybe I'll go back to the beginning to get the full experience

The Royal Tenenbaums:
I was shocked by how good this is right from the first scene. Packed full of great moments, it doesn't waste a second. Contains all the Wes Anderson quirks whilst still providing characters you care about.
