Organizing my studio this afternoon and reveling in my jackpot online used book store score: a Brian Doyle autographed copy of The Grail. (It wasn’t advertised as such, it just showed up this way!)

Beyond alarming. Again, my husband is a fed and the stories coming out today are grotesque abuses of power and disregard for government systems and norms.
(No surprise; I know the chaos agents relish the idea-becoming-reality of burning it down. But knowing doesn’t stop it feeling like assault.)
