I’d also recommend D. Clint Burnett’s Studying the New Testament through Inscriptions. While tailored forwards New Testament studies, Burnett does an excellent job of introducing the reader to Greek epigraphy and resources.

It’s definitely on the more technical side, but should be good for a graduate student.

My go to source is B. H. McLean’s An Introduction to Greek Epigraphy of the Hellenistic and Roman Periods from Alexander the Great down to the Reign of Constantine (323 B.C.–A.D. 337)

I do get the umpteenth time of reading a story being a little weary of it, but gosh. I can’t keep enough books to satiate my 1 year old’s reading appetite. Little dude loves it so just encourages me to get creative with voices and such or rotate the books when I’d like a break from a specific story.
