"You don't consider" is what you literally started that with, to me, lol... I'm not centering myself, I'm commenting only on what I've experienced. I was asking you for the same input, because the comment you replied to was ALSO someone commenting just from what they've lived & experienced...

Again I was born in 84, so none of that I was alive for (or at least remember, for Reagan). But it's definitely good to have reminders of other horrors that have happened that (to this point) are worse.
For me, it's more shameful because with all those things in the past - we *should* be better now.

I absolutely agree that it's not the worst or most shameful atrocity in our country's history by a long stretch (and please God let it not usurp those events), but this thread is purely about what we've been alive to see, not all of US History. The continued horrid treatment, absolutely agree on.

Honestly, he should never have been able to run the first time for so many reasons.... but when he did that at a political rally, and they didn't disown him they just voted for him?!?!? I knew we were a lost cause.

Weird as it may sound, I would look for Facebook groups/pages/creators of/for those types of people, and then see which have a Discord for it. She is a white trans creator, but Mercury Stardust (the Trans Handyma'am) has one and has curated it similarly & done it from her IG & FB sites!

I've honestly never understood people not wanting to read diverse characters. It's SO satisfying to read about something you don't know firsthand & learn different perspectives! They are absolutely missing out on amazing things.
