I write my own books, mostly about sports, and sometimes I help others turn their stories into books.

Here's my first freelance piece for NIL Wire, examining the potential for expanding sports analytics into the world of revenue sharing. www.nil-wire.com/p/in-the-rev...
🏅In the rev-sharing era, sports analytics should be applied off the field, too
Data analysis can help schools come up with creative new revenue streams, which in turn can help teams compete.

Ok.

Then let it die.

Because theft is theft.

And even worse if you’re profiting from the crime.

Don't get me wrong. I love all March Madness. But there's just something a little more crazy raw fun about the mid-major/small conference tourneys with rings and NCAA automatic bids on the line. Messing with this would be insane.

This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell.

This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

Elon—the richest man on Earth—is gutting the world’s largest provider of food aid. He could end world hunger single-handedly and still be the richest man alive. But he won’t.

Instead, he spent 40 million on Super Bowl ads attacking USAID!

Stand with USAID: share this counter-ad…

Hearing historians talk about the grace, generosity, and friendship Gerald Ford showed to Jimmy Carter, despite the bitter political battle between the two. Proof that humanity can prevail even in our political system.

I suppose this is why so many authors are incensed about AI “writing” — it’s clearly just something tech dullards created to compensate for their own weaknesses and now they’re projecting that on all of us.

Look, I’m sorry you suck at writing. But don’t make the rest of us suffer your failures.
Writing is thinking.

It’s not a part of the process that can be skipped; it’s the entire point.
This is what's so baffling about so many suggestions for AI in the humanities classroom: they mistake the product for the point. Writing outlines and essays is important not because you need to make outlines and essays but because that's how you learn to think with/through complex ideas.
