As I said, Cass excluded an enormous amount of evidence that treatment had been overwhelmingly positive for the vast majority of patients. This is the criteria used when judging the appropriateness of all other medical treatments.

It has been in academic circles because it refused to consider evidence it didn’t like and then claimed there was no evidence. Medicine is largely empirical and evidence which would be accepted in any other area of medicine was rejected by Cass. It was a political review not a medical one.

If would be a miracle if he can find any socialists! Maybe on the back most Labour backbenches or among suspended MPs, certainly not in Government.

Prince William’s position may have been weaker. Charles, William and the Palace used the Murdoch press for their own purposes. William may not have been prepared to risk all the Palaces emails with the Murdoch press being used it court because they likely contain some that are very embarrassing.

Yes, but it won’t happen because authoritarian Starmer looks after his allies.

Tufton St policies which failed under the Conservatives, aren’t based on sound economics, and are designed to benefit the rich not growth.

But growth will be harmed by the tax on jobs (NI increase), the weakening of competition rules (monopolies invest less despite making bigger profits), the failure to tackle childhood poverty and the failure to shift the tax burden from the lowest income decile to the wealthiest. Reeves is pursuing

Because Labour Together was always a Trojan Horse? Starmer secretly joined the anti-democratic, right wing, Trilateral Commission 2017 and worked with two former heads of the CIA who said it was essential to stop Corbyn becoming PM.

Of course, China already blocks X, Facebook etc in China, so the USA is only copying what a highly oppressive police state in which there is no right of free speech is doing. This is what the USA has become.

There are multiple papers published on this topic every year. I’m not sure that,”We looked at this data subset and found nothing”, is as powerful as people who are saying, “This other data subset shows a slowing”.

Raping women is probably what Trump means by “warrior culture”.

No central bank has a timescale for when it might be possible to phase out notes and coins. But there would be massive advantages for monetary policy management. Quantitative easing has cost the U.K. hundreds of billions of pounds which could have been avoided if interest rates could be negative.
