(Part 3) …but I do feel a little cast adrift. I’ve always seen technology writ broad—stone tools to mobile apps—as neutral, not inherently bad or good. It’s the tools, and we decide what to use them for. Now I’m not so sure.

(Part 2) I never did much with the platform formerly known as Twitter. Threads is just more Meta. I wish more people I want to stay connected to were on here. This was never a way for me to meet people—though I have. The emphasis was always on maintaining connections. I’m wasting so much less time…

(Part 1) I’m kind of in between social media platforms right now. I might as well just close my Facebook account. I can’t quite quit Instagram just yet, but I’m pretty disengaged. I’m on Reddit, but more for information and my own special interests than staying in touch with friends and family.
