More than 67 million people in the US speak a language other than English in their homes.

The “official language” edict doesn’t even bar agencies from offering interpreters or non-English documents.

Consumer "protection" laws and agencies do more harm than good, and favor bigger operators who can afford to comply with byzantine regulation. See any "too big to fail" policies.

Main difference is that more people are paying attention more to DOGE than CFPB.

Other main difference is that DOGE is, at least theoretically, trying to undo the over-reach of other agencies like CFPB.
