This weekend was horrible. I am so incredibly anxious and stressed out. I really hate this time of year. It's like all the conflict and stress of the year gets crammed into a few short weeks and it's overwhelming, depressing and makes me want to give up entirely.

Whom do you recommend I follow? Keep in mind, I'm 39 yo, very progressive and really don't care for all the doom and gloom.

Last week, my employer sent an email stating they were pulling out of the Colorado market entirely in 2025. So I'll likely be laid off at some point in 2025 and it's incredibly stressful. Like the holidays aren't bad enough...

Today, my children and I are going to the Stay and Play Legos activity at the library this afternoon. We've been several times before and it's always fun. Good practice for them to interact with other children, share pieces, collaborate, etc.

Today, I will go to church, early service today as I don't have my children this weekend, then spend the day with my parents. My parents are critical to my well-being. This time of year is incredibly difficult and they make it so much better.
