First Bluejay visitor in quite some time. They usually just stop by occasionally in the wintertime. Thankfully, he was so noisy I heard him in time to go watch and snap a few pictures.

Got to watch the first bumblebee of the year indulging in the bottle gentian in the adorable way that they do it.
They are the only pollinators of this late-blooming blue native flower, since they are the only ones strong enough to open the "bottle" to climb inside.
