2006... I tried to avoid steam as much as I could in the early days, because it was trash.

I didn't really use it unless it was enforced until about 2012, by then it was kinda tolerable.

Yes, in fact, that guy who loves to vibe code IS slower than you.

Cursor Pro users were 19% slower than non-AI devs on the same tasks. All while reporting they thought they were faster. Oopsy.

Yep, there's an initial setup which is a bit more difficult, but there's some decent sites out there to search instances and pick one that seems cool and allows the content you wanna post.

Then I absolutely recomment tusky for phone app, it's basically indistingishable from like, good twitter.

My parents' generation will never, ever forget the poll tax, though I admit it's a less grevious crime than the rough wooing or the multiude of Shit We Did To Ireland.

But I did pick England to make my home, I just wish it could stop doing this over and over.

It *doesn't* stand out though, at least not to me.
The Porche Cayenne already gave us a "hey look a supercar badge on something your mum would drive" car years ago.

First time I saw one I genuninely thought someone had put a lambo badge on a toyota as a joke.

I no longer practice the deep magics, but I recall once spending a week of hyperfocus, translating elder wisdoms into VU code and by the end I'd increased the number of distinct light sources our PS2 framework could render from 4 to 7.

There's elegance to it, more maths than code.

MFW coming back from a Very Lovely Holiday to find out the engineer who took over my project not only didn't fix any of the problems but left root passwords in txt files where customers could find them.

"The architecture looks Asgardian", said Daniel, as he strapped on a tail, glancing back at O'Neill. "Put the ears back on Jack; we're supposed to be blending in".

Okay this post escaped into the wild somehow so you can have this photo of an industrial sewing machine as a treat.

Also if you followed me expecting NASA or arts and crafts content, sorry but you'll mainly be seeing furry art.

I lost one of these tiny springs, it went PING and teleported to the 5th dimension and I don't have a spare.

I just shouldn't touch things t.t

I have commented before that i'm envious of toons where all you need to genderswap is an eyelash, or if you wanna go nuts, a bow.

Well guess what:

I tried on big round glasses today for the first time and I tried to capture how I felt about the experience with a photo edit but the edit turned out looking adorable so I failed but at least I'm entertained

Honestly if i was gonna wear a watch I'd be wearing my black Pebble Time. It's just clever enough to be useful while also being small and dumb enough not to irritate me.

Plus I have a deeply werewolf-coded watchface.
