I dunno this seems sensible to me

There's not really enough trials to make this result statistically significant, but it allows me to validate my suffering XD

Mine's in a weird place, do you think we can unfold it and have it still work? 🤔

To give an example from the opposite end: having time off work and coming back to find everything is broken and going terribly is awful. It means you're always the one to fix it, you're always having to do more work than everyone else.

That's a great way of describing it actually XD I like it

This was my entire life prior to being diagnosed with ADHD and discovering that this isn't supposed to be how life is.

(I'm not saying you do or don't have ADHD, to clarify. It was just interesting how familiar this sounds.)

So it's not necessarily that it _makes_ you impressionable. It's more that you're allowing someone to interact with your mind in ways you normally can't.

And I think that last part is the magic of it. The fact that your mind can do SO much more than it typically lets you do.

Hypnosis is a lot of things really and weirdly hard to describe, and I could probably write for hours about what I've learned XD But the simplest explanation I've got is...

It's a way of communicating that interacts more intensely with the mind than what we normally do.

I've never been very good at memory play for some reason, despite it apparently being fairly easy for others 😔

But we might have worked out a way around that recently. So who knows what the future may hold...

In some ways I find it easier in the dark because there's less to see, and I'm told this is a weird opinion to have 😂

For me it seems to be primarily duration. More than like 40 minutes and there's a high chance I'm spending the rest of the day in bed. And if it's busy that doesn't help either.

It's important to note that you really hate when I do one of these things, but I'll keep doing it anyway.

It's okay though, because one of them you really like so it works out in the end.

@poofymammoth.bsky.social that's so incredibly sweet, thank you! 🥰

Is that a thing they often do?

They only ever tested at rest until a recent test I asked for, where I peaked at 209bpm XD
I wouldn't be surprised if it can go higher than that, since weirdly I had to stop because of my legs rather than my heart.

Thank you 🧡

When it comes to having any sort of undiagnosed chronic health condition, the only bad news you can get is "no there's nothing wrong with you, go home"

So honestly? Yeah, this IS great news.
