He's not hiding, and saying he's "wanted" is a stretch. He has a civil warrant in Idaho. As he's living in UT, there's no chance he'll be arrested. Generally, states don't extradite for civil warrants, and ID is not going to UT to arrest him for a civil warrant.

And you should thank the local shitheads who steal any/everything that isn't nailed down or locked up. The vandals are literally pushing stores out of their neighborhoods.
