If it finally gets to the point that Trump is untenable for the GOP and he has to resign, I could see the Repubs self-congratulating as country over party patriots. Most of the Dems breath a sigh of relief and get their needed strong Republican Party back. Stage is prepared for the next Fascist.

I tried dicking around with chat gpt yesterday. I asked it the meaning of the Iggy Pop song Some Weird Sin and it got it completely wrong. Not just the interpretation, but it made up its own lyrics to the song. It's not very reliable!

I grew up in a small town and was taught how to handle guns by my dad. I don't blame people for wanting guns but if they're not familiar with them they really do need some safety training at the very least.

If Trump was smarter and less vindictive he could probably have done the Orban thing pretty easily. I think a lot of Americans would welcome a police state if it stopped street crime, but not the thuggery of ICE against women and children. The man has no self restraint.

The Democrats should learn about this concept of anticipating what your opponent might do. Obviously the Republicans were going to use ai in this manner. They'll keep doing it too. The Dems could pearl clutch and whine and sue, or they could hit back with ai. Repubs collapse when hit back
