If you have something to say that matters, say it today. If you have a little bit of love in your heart, don’t allow yourself this privilege of separating silence and assimilation. Love yourself enough to be brave and to be bold and let’s love each other enough to keep talking.

I might just post pictures of fungi from here on out. The thought trecking through a beautiful forest on a Sunday morning, seeing the perfect specimen and laying down in my rockin hiking boots to capture this beauty with my retro camera really speaks to me.
Atheniella, that’s a leaf behind it for scale. Such a delicate pink color.

She’s right and incredible.

I just can’t rest on the bottom. It’s my mom. She made me believe-I matter upward.

She would also remind me that as I sit at my bottom- much of humanity gazes up at a kaleidoscope of butt cheeks on a glass floor of privilege.

We all matter upward.
Love like my mom.
There’s freedom in hitting bottom, in seeing that you won’t be able to save or rescue your daughter, her spouse, his parents, or your career, relief in admitting you’ve reached the place of great unknowing. This is where restoration can begin.
