Out of curiosity, what's the difference between copy editing and line editing?

I had unread messages from friends, and now I won't get to see them 💔

I'm 20k words deep in book 1, and it's in first person, past tense. Seeing as this project will be at least 3 books long.... is first person even a good idea?
