I've always told myself that hope and optimism are the two radical possessions that I can never let go of. Yet, I fear that my hands are beginning to tremble and shake. To be surrounded by community is the only reason I've survived—what else is left, if not them?

A performer who was part of Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show was detained by security after waving the Sudanese flag and Palestinian flags together with the words “Sudan” and “Gaza” written on them toward the end of the performance, the NFL says.
