A trope I've seen sometimes when it comes to future tech was dehydrated food, where its a small pill/cracker that turns into a whole meal with just a couple drops of water. Always imagined what would happen if someone unwittingly ate it all like a bag of chips and then washed it down with water...

Especially if it's something small, like a cupcake or even just a pill, then you could stuff yourself with multiple at a time and be none the wiser until all that fat hits you at once!
