Currently watching Beauty and the Beast and realizing that while I don’t often love retellings, I do love the original, and I think it comes down to the fact that he’s an actual beast rather than a “beastly” human. We don’t have to dissect that further

Looking back here over a year after I last posted is providing some much needed perspective because while it feels like I’ve made zero progress in my writing in that time, I’ve actually written/revised 2.5 book drafts in that time across two different novels? Slay

Only have 300 words written on draft 2 of my treasure hunters book because unfortunately it needs more ~thinking~ and ~figuring out plot holes~ before I can fully dive in but I did come up with a better placeholder title last night which is ahead of schedule 🤓
