I'm sure the insurance companies will be tracking that info.
Why do the GOP keep thinking that if we don't track something, it isn't happening? Are they really that stupid??

And they're already firing the general and flag officers who aren't white men. So it's likely that will trickle down the ranks too. Officers who aren't white male won't get promoted, so under the military's up or out policy, they won't be staying either

But they don't want educated factory workers or any sort of educated worker. He wants to take us back to the 1890s or earlier. He admires President McKinley for some reason.

If they care so much about chronic disease, then why did they decimate the HHS division tasked with overseeing chronic disease research? Or the people in charge of vaccines?
April 3, 2025 at 4:00 PM
So let me get this straight..... They say they want to keep people from getting sick, but then they get rid of all of the research programs and preventative programs like vaccine funding and authorization groups that are all about prevention.
So how does Bhattacharya plan to prevent illness???

Technically so did the Germans. Dachau, Ravensbruck, and Buchenwald were in Germany, but some of the really nasty concentration camps were in Poland, Czechoslovakia, & Austria (Auschwitz, Thereisenstadt, & Mathhausen).

There are procedures to follow for identifying fraud, waste, and abuse. For starters, doge should review Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards. There's an actual handbook I use daily for work. EM's folks haven't read it and aren't using it.

Are all of these agencies the ones that had Inspectors General fired in the very first week of the administration? Given that IGs look for fraud, waste, & abuse in government systems, could that maybe explain the firings?
February 9, 2025 at 4:34 AM
Right. Then they'd be using the budget they HAVE to pass by March 14 @ midnight in order to adjust federal funding priorities. It's not like they have to wait until Oct 1 for control over the budget and federal funding. Instead, they take a wrecking ball to essential services.
