DNA question. My father and I both have our DNA on @Ancestry. I have matches to me that show as being on his side but they don’t appear on his match list. Is this a weird Ancestry thing and does this mean they are more likely to be on my mother’s side? Thanks. #Ancestry #Genealogy

I have a civil marriage certificate from Bangor, Wales for a couple ‘married in the Roman Catholic Chapel according to the rites and ceremonies of the Calvinistic Methodists’ as far as I can see they were both Catholic. Also no church name was mentioned, any thoughts? #Genealogy #FamilyHistory

I know I’m late #AncestryHour but I’ve just found this and had to share! Imagine not being named on your own marriage record, just widow of! (Tipperary, Ireland 1827.)

Poor Law Union question for #AncestryHour
I was looking at the England Jurisdiction 1851 maps for Haslingden, Lancashire on Family Search for my PharosTutors@Bsky.social course. The Civil Registration District map looked ok. 1/3

Does anyone know the period when the Dublin Electoral Roll of 1911 would have been collated? I know information on electoral rolls generally can out of date by the time they are published but collation dates would really help me narrow down a time line. #Ancestry #FamilyHistory

A property was sold at auction in Cork in 1904, I have the deed that follows the sale but there is no mention of the value. Is there anywhere that would be held? #Ancestry #FamilyHistory
