Find all the clues that tell us, "These potato chips are Canadian." Bonus point if you can tell me what Canadian retail icon I bought them in.

I'm an aging Boomer who grew up in an era when Canadians coped with an inferiority complex to the United States. Since Trump, I've stopped viewing the US as superior to Canada in any way. In truth, we're just as exceptional, and we'll prove it without saying sorry.

This Trumpian nightmare has convinced me of parallel universes and the hell we’re experiencing is the bad-dream-reality of the cosmos we’re actually living in.

Astounding forecast from the Business Development Bank of Canada. Keep buying Canadian and staying away from the US.

My Canadian Conservative acquaintances are big mad at Trump, but I can't tell if it's because of his threats to our sovereignty or that he's tanked Pierre Poilievre's election chances.

Ukrainian-Canadian here. I’m proud of President Zelenskyy for standing up to a pair of bullydozers. What strength in leadership. He inspires me to continue resisting this alt version of America.

Ukraine is forever, despite what that shitty-orange-wad-of-gum-stuck-to-the-pavement-of-history says. #SlavaUkraini

My new hobby is scanning barcodes to see if products are Canadian-made. Is This Canadian is a free app developed by three young Quebecers. It uses AI to recognize labels and verify countries of origin. It also offers alternative Canadian brands if you're face-to-face with an American product.

When I was a kid (over 60 years ago), word on the street was if you ate too much sweetened shredded coconut, your stomach would explode. Is there any scientific evidence, or were moms just scaring their kids to keep the baking supplies from disappearing?

I'm having a discussion with a conservative friend on Facebook and it's interesting to note that after all that's gone on over the weekend, he's still wailing about high taxes. I guess that's called painting yourself into a corner.

We did a pantry audit today and discovered that 90% of our food purchases have been Canadian-made all along.

Canada and the world, we survived the Great War, the Great Depression, and the Great Recession. We’ll get through this Great Stupidity too. #GoTeamCanada 🇨🇦

Hey, world, help us Canadians out — buy anything made in Canada. 🇨🇦

So, Instagram just suggested I follow Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump Jr., and Lara Trump. Sorry Zuck, you suck!

The more Trump keeps talking about annexing Canada, the less likely it’ll be for Poilievre to win the next election. Keep talkin’ Donny. #MakeCanadaGreaterThanAmerica

Anyone else feel like cross-checking Wayne Gretzky in the mouth today?

Forty-six years ago, our first son, Matt, was born at Winnipeg's Grace Hospital. Over the years, we crafted homemade cards for family birthdays, but this year, I created this bookmark to recognize Matt's love of reading and writing. This little card is undoubtedly the beginning of a new tradition.
